Planted Cross exists to share inspirational Christian stories in ordinary people’s lives. God writes amazing stories, and not just through the lives of public figures or saints. Holiness is a call for everyone, including you!
Our name comes from St Therese of Lisieux. With missionary zeal she exclaimed, “I want to plant the cross on every shore!” Because of this, she is hailed as a patron of missionaries. In August 2025, the Vatican held a digital creators jubilee. At this jubilee, Pope Leo XIV encouraged digital missionaries saying, “It is not simply a matter of generating content, but of creating an encounter of hearts.”
Our hope is that Planted Cross can be that place of an encounter of hearts.
We live in a country that has largely turned away from God. Standing in the shade of the cross planted by our forefathers, we have neglected to make our faith our own. However, there is an awakening happening. It is up to us to claim our hearts for Christ and spread the gospel to all nations, including our own.
It is easy to think, “God doesn’t want to use me,” or, “I’m not that special.” But, if you take a moment to be still, you will hear the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit calling you. He is calling you to the heights of holiness, even in your everyday life.
Our mission is to represent a variety of Christian stories and testimonies through our guests. You will find both written articles on our website and video interviews on our YouTube channel. From lay people to clergy, from stay-at-home parents to non-profit executives, there is something for everyone. We hope you find something to relate to and to be inspired by at Planted Cross.
